Typhoon 'Madim' hits, companies should prepare for various measures

Yesterday afternoon (24th), Typhoon Madm (tropical storm level), the 10th typhoon of this year, entered Anhui Province and moved at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour towards the north. Affected by Madm, most areas in the eastern part of Huaibei and south of the Huai River in our province experienced showers or thunderstorms, with uneven distribution of rainfall. The Bowang area in Ma'anshan was also affected.

Our company is preparing for the typhoon. I have repeatedly learned about the latest developments of the typhoon through meteorological websites, and reminded workers in various factory and office areas to close doors and windows, move flower pots from balconies indoors, urge workshop personnel to pay attention to electrical safety, cut off dangerous outdoor power sources, reinforce doors, windows, and scaffolding, clean drainage pipes, and maintain smooth drainage. I also reminded employees who have finished work to slow down when cycling and pay attention to safety. Make every effort to ensure typhoon safety and prepare for the arrival of the typhoon.
