Stamping mold industry welcomes a favorable period

Update Time:2014-08-15 Clicks:0

In recent years, the adjustment of product structure in the mold industry has accelerated, and the development speed of high-tech molds represented by large, precision, complex, and long-life molds is higher than the overall development speed of the industry, accounting for about 35% of the total mold volume.

The total production volume of stamping parts processing molds in China now ranks among the top in the world, and it has gradually shifted from a major importer of molds to an exporter of molds. There are currently more than 30000 mold production enterprises in China, with about 1 million employees. In 2012, the sales revenue was 124 billion yuan, and the production and sales were prosperous. The output, quality, and level have been further improved, especially in the development of automobile manufacturing and IT manufacturing industries, which have driven the improvement of mold grades. Excellent mold manufacturing equipment provides a guarantee for the improvement of mold technology level. The Chinese mold industry is currently experiencing a "golden development stage" and will continue to maintain rapid growth in the foreseeable future.

From the perspective of industry structure, private enterprises are developing rapidly, state-owned enterprises are becoming more dynamic, and the number and capabilities of professional mold manufacturers facing the market are increasing rapidly. Stamping parts processing mold clusters that adapt to the production characteristics of the mold industry are developing, and underdeveloped areas in the mold industry such as the central and western regions have made significant progress.

Some stamping parts processing mold enterprises have achieved a multi station progressive die accuracy of 2 microns and a lifespan of over 300 million punches. Some enterprises' multi station progressive dies can be used on high-speed punching machines at 2500 times per minute, with an accuracy of up to 1 micron. We are capable of producing plastic molds for 43 inch large screen televisions, 65 inch rear projection televisions, a complete set of plastic molds for 10kg large capacity washing machines, as well as large plastic molds for car bumpers, integrated instrument panels, and more.

Precision plastic stamping parts processing molds can now produce plastic parts molds for cameras and mobile phones, as well as multi cavity small module gears.

With the continuous enhancement of people's environmental awareness, major carbon emitting enterprises are seeking to meet production needs with minimal resource consumption and waste emissions. Currently, China's mold industry is not only facing the technological advantages of developed countries, but also the dual pressure of price advantages as a developing country. Therefore, China's mold industry has begun to actively seek the path of industrial transformation and upgrading.

How to take the road of transformation well, first understand the shortcomings of China's mold industry. Nowadays, in the fiercely competitive market environment, the trend of mold production and operation in China has shown a pyramid shaped phenomenon. Firstly, the leading role of the hardware mold industry is not strong. Secondly, the technological innovation capability of the hardware mold industry is relatively weak. Thirdly, the market structure is too single, the dependence on exports is too high, and it ranks fourth in China. Brand building is relatively lagging behind, lacking popularity and core competitiveness. Fifthly, there is a lack of public platform services. Some existing problems continue to emerge and become increasingly serious. For example, problems such as low mold costs, low product structure and technical content, and roughness have emerged.

If mold companies want to operate for a long time, they must carry out drastic reforms. The first priority is to improve technology. Only by mastering patented technology can enterprises have a strong competitive advantage, enter the high-end market, and establish their own unique brand. The second change in sales model is no longer relying solely on traditional sales models. Under the erosion of e-commerce, its achievements are evident. More and more mold companies have realized that obtaining orders through e-commerce is a trend. Nowadays, many mold companies have begun to explore e-commerce, which is a trend and a trend.

Although China's mold products currently have certain international comparative advantages, the sustained high-speed export growth over the years has triggered increasingly severe trade frictions. In addition, the continuous rise of the RMB exchange rate has weakened its competitiveness, making it increasingly difficult for China's mold products to further expand exports this year. At present, the main problems in the economic operation of China's mold industry are still insufficient new demand and weak innovation capabilities. It is believed that only with technological guarantees, enterprise reputation, product quality, environment, and market competition can the problems existing be easily solved.
